Procesio, founded by Mihai Dârzan, is expanding into new markets after creating an automation technology used by more than 6,000 customers, mostly in the US, in 2022.
AI can help companies and organisations reduce the amount of manual and repetitive work people do, and the goal is not necessarily to get rid of them, said Mihai Dârzan, at the DigitALL 2024 conference organized by Energynomics.
According to Dârzan, using AI does not make people less intelligent. “I believe AI has a sustainable future for humanity. AI will help businesses be more secure and resilient to change and hyper-scale,” he said, referring to the concept of the “One Person Billion Dollar Company”.
Artificial intelligence can make the difference between winners and losers, warned Mihai Dârzan, after which he presented six practical examples of using artificial intelligence in everyday activities:
- Conversational chatbot
- Speech-To-Text + Summary
- Event participants – get info
- Research person based on email
- Document data extraction – 1 & 2
- HITL flows (e.g. invoice approval)
At the end of the presentation, Mihai Dârzan challenged the participants to come up with questions, with the best of them being awarded 10,000 euros in consulting services for automation and Procesio resources. There were four questions and answers in about eight minutes. Two days later, via a LinkedIn post, the Procesio team announced the person whom the prize was awarded to.
