The E.ON Energie Romania company installed, in the first eight months of this year, over 3,500 photovoltaic systems at residential customers, eight times more than the whole of last year.

If last year the company installed 400 photovoltaic systems, on average 1 system per day, this year the average pace of installations increased to 14 photovoltaic systems per day, the record being 50 systems installed in a single day in July of this year.

To date, the more than 4,400 PV systems installed by the company at residential customers in the last 4 years have generated 21.21GWh of renewable energy and saved approximately 11,000 tons of CO2 emissions that would have required approximately 14,000 of trees. Of the installed systems, about 10% also have batteries for storage.

“Using energy from the sun to power our homes, to cool them on hot days and heat them in the cold season, means doing things the right way, sustainably. More than 13,000 customers benefit from solar energy today thanks to our solutions, and continued cost reductions for panels, batteries, heat pumps, electric cars and other key technologies show that a clean energy future is also an increasingly affordable energy future. from a cost point of view,” said Claudia Griech, general director of E.ON Energie Romania.

The company’s clients have at their disposal the entire range of available power: from 3 kW, both in single-phase and three-phase systems.

For example, a 3 kW photovoltaic system produces, on average, 3,500 kWh/year, enough to cover an average monthly consumption of approximately 200 kWh. The recovery of the investment is made in approximately 4 years, depending on the installed power and the warranty period is long, 15 years for the panels and 10 years for the inverter. At the same time, it should be noted that the installation is done in 5 working days for those who have the files approved in the Casa Verde 2023 program and want to transfer to E.ON, and the payment of their own contribution is made after the installation of the photovoltaic system.

Romanians who want to install photovoltaic panels with state money through the Green Photovoltaic 2024 program, which will be launched in September, according to the latest statements by the authorities, must know that they will also be forced to install storage systems of energy.

The company has been offering a solution through energy storage modules since 3 years ago, the system being a hybrid one, with powers of 5, 10, 15 kW, on-grid or off-grid, and has a 10-year warranty granted by the manufacturer. It has the ability to deliver power when there is little or no output from the solar panels and can take over the home’s electricity consumption when the grid power is out.
