Electrica specialists have managed to fix all the problems of the electricity distribution network in the area affected by the floods in Galati county, the Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, announced on Monday evening.

In 36 hours from the start of the intervention works, the Electrica specialists managed to fix all the problems of the electricity distribution network in the area affected by the floods in Galati County. Today, except for some occasional disruptions, all users in Galati county are supplied with electricity. In record time, under extremely difficult conditions, under time pressure, these wonderful people managed the impossible,” wrote Burduja on his Facebook page, according to Agerpres.

He specified that with the help of a Black Hawk helicopter it was possible to relocate three medium voltage poles from the Târgu Bujor area to Moscow, in an extremely difficult to access area.

“Today we received invaluable support, which you will see in the images. A special operation, set up together with Dr. Raed Arafat and the DSU and Distribuție Energie Electrica Romania teams, with the support of Deputy Prime Minister Cătălin Predoiu, the Minister of the Interior: a helicopter Black Hawk helped us to relocate three medium voltage poles from the Târgu Bujor area to Moscow, in an extremely difficult to access area. All my respect and gratitude to all those who got involved and are getting involved, through professionalism and devotion, to make light again in the homes of Romanians”, stated the Minister of Energy.
