The 2024 financing session for the enrollment of natural person applicants in the “Photovoltaic Green House” Program will take place between September 27 and October 8, with stages of one day for each region or until the budget related to each region is exhausted, informs the Administration of the Environment Fund (AFM).
At the same time, the religious units will be able to enroll in the program on October 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m., or until the budget is exhausted.
“In 2024, the Environmental Fund Administration is launching the registration session with a record budget of approximately two billion lei. Our goal is to facilitate the access of as many beneficiaries as possible to the financing offered through this program. We want to ensure the necessary resources to support the implementation of photovoltaic panel systems in about 67,000 more households, so that after this session we will be able to talk about about 200,000 households that will reduce the cost of their electricity bill and that will use green energy. The 2024 session brings news particularly important within the Program. It is about financing installations for the storage of electricity produced by photovoltaic panels, an essential measure for maximizing the energy efficiency and independence of households. At the same time, we have considerably increased the subsidy, from 20,000 lei to 30,000 lei, thus greater financial support for those who want to invest in green energy,” said, in the press release quoted by Agerpres, the president of AFM, Laurentiu-Adrian Neculaescu.
According to the institution, user accounts can be created before the official opening of the registration session, which will allow them to familiarize themselves with the application and be prepared in advance. Thus, on the day dedicated to registration, it will only be necessary to upload the requested documents.
In the case of cult units, the budget allocation amounts to 20.1 million lei.
