Wattmann, the residential projects division of VOLT Evse Distribution, one of the main EPCs in the photovoltaic industry in Romania, announces its participation in the Casa Verde 2024 Program and the launch of a simulation and training platform for submitting the file for potential beneficiaries.

On September 27, registrations for the Casa Verde 2024 program begin, which offers Romanians the opportunity to install photovoltaic panels and batteries with a subsidy of up to 90% of the total cost, capped at 30,000 RON. This program allows citizens to actively contribute to the green energy transition, with a personal investment of only 3,000 RON.

However, one of the major challenges of the participants lies in the method of allocation of funds, which operates on a first-come, first-served basis. In the previous edition, in some regions, funds ran out within minutes of opening applications, putting people with less digital skills at a disadvantage.

In order to support as many Romanians as possible to increase their chances of success, Wattmann has created a web page where anyone can practice submitting the file. Basically, the page helps potential beneficiaries to simulate the filing process, measure their time, familiarize themselves with the necessary steps and the order in which they need to upload the documents.

“Many feel discouraged by the process,” said Octavian Roșca, VOLT Managing Partner. “Some of them proposed to pay us sums of money so that we would submit the file in their place, but we considered that it was not right to do so. So we said: let’s do something to help them. That’s how we came up with the idea to make the exercise page, where anyone can try as many times as they want, until they feel ready for the big day.”

The training platform is just the beginning of a larger project. Octavian explains: “Our plan is to create an educational hub dedicated to photovoltaic energy. We have noticed that there is an acute need for education and information in this field. Through this hub, we will provide resources, tutorials, free access to experts and up-to-date information to help Romanians better understand photovoltaic technology and its benefits.”

“With a goal of over 1,500 projects for Casa Verde 2024, we are determined to make a real difference in the adoption of solar energy in Romania,” added Octavian Roșca. “Our educational hub will play a crucial role in achieving this goal, providing the necessary informational support for more and more Romanians to make the transition to green energy.”

The training platform is free and can be accessed at wattmann.ro/antrenament. It provides a secure environment for simulating the application process without saving personal data or documents.

Wattmann encourages all potential participants interested in the Casa Verde 2024 program to practice on the simulation platform to increase their chances of success in obtaining the grant.
