Enexus Renewable delivered its first hybrid project this year, consisting of a 20 MW solar park and a 3 MW battery system, said Iulia Meiroșu, CFO and member of the company’s board of directors.
She said the battery energy storage market is becoming increasingly attractive to investors looking to diversify their portfolios.
“Only six months ago, at the beginning of the year, we were trying to convince them that energy storage is a natural step forward and that the whole market is moving in this direction,” she said at the conference “Battery Energy Storage Systems – BESS Romania”, organised by Energynomics.
Interest in the sector is so high that investors with no direct experience in the energy market are keen to enter the field, and those who already own storage systems are interested in expanding them.
The conference “Battery Energy Storage Systems – BESS Romania” was organised by Energynomics with the support of our partners: Alive Capital, Elektra Renewable Support, Enevo Group, Ensys, Enexus, OX2, EVOLVE Energy Management Solutions, EVOLVE Energy Management Solutions, SIM Connect, SolaX Power, Think Blu Solution, WEBUS 4 ENERGY, Wiren.
