The Professional Association of the Society of Energy Auditors and Managers of Romania – SAMER, convenes the General Assembly for Friday, 08 November 2024, at 10:30 a.m., according to the programme of the meeting in this notice, which will be held in physical format at the “Stefan cel Mare” University of Suceava, with headquarters in Suceava, 13, University Street, Suceava County, Joseph SCHMIDT Conference Room.

According to the association’s official announcement, the agenda includes:

1. Validation of the quorum of SAMER members present at the first convocation at 10:30;

1.1. If the quorum is not reached at the first meeting at 10.30 a.m., a second SAMER General Assembly meeting will be convened at 11.00 a.m., in the same location and with the same agenda;

1.2. Establishment of the new quorum consisting of a simple majority of SAMER members present;

2. Election of the secretariat of the meeting, with the role of keeping the proposals, mentions, interventions and drawing up the minutes and notes of the meeting.

3. Presentation of recent legislative changes in the field of energy efficiency, how SAMER Association took position and the results obtained;

4. Discussion of the EnerClima reporting platform and the obligations of energy auditors and energy managers from 2025;

5. Admission and update of SAMER member memberships received in the time elapsed since the last membership update to the date of this General Assembly. To enrol new SAMER members in the Association;

6. To present and approve the report on the execution of the income and expenditure budget up to the end of September 2024 and since the last SAMER AGM.

7. To approve the establishment of subsidiaries and/or branches of SAMER Association, both in Romania and abroad – including the Republic of Moldova.

8. To update SAMER’s bylaws in accordance with the decisions of the General Assembly of members of 08.11.2024 and Ordinance no. 26/2000 on associations and foundations, amended and updated on the date hereof.

9. Designation of the person(s) authorised to carry out the procedure for the registration of SAMER Association’s changes in the Register of Associations and Foundations.

10. Diverse.

The General Assembly takes place against the background of recent changes in energy efficiency legislation, the launch of the EnerClima reporting platform for energy auditors and managers and the need to approve the partial execution of the revenue and expenditure budget.
