SolPEG, an energy production and storage solutions provider, is strengthening its presence in Romania with a growing local team, according to Can Tutaşi, Turkey Coordinator of SolPEG.

“We are actively participating in tenders with multiple investors for new projects. Typically, 90% of the investors we work with also own the projects they invest in, ensuring long-term commitment to their success,” Tutaşi said at the “Regional Approach Istanbul: Co-operation for profitable energy” conference organized by Energynomics and Enexus Renewable Energy.

The company now employs 60 engineers in Turkey, 18 in Germany, and five in Romania, all working on projects related to energy production and storage in the region.

SolPEG offers services including inspection, owner’s engineering, and consultancy for projects with a combined capacity exceeding 15,000 MW worldwide. In Turkey, the company manages projects of around 10,000 MW.
