The software company Beenear, active for 20 years, is entering the Romanian market with a digital management solution for green spaces, said Patricia Chirica, Marketing & HR Manager, Beenear.

“We have been on the market for 20 years, but until now we have only been active abroad, in countries such as Italy, Germany and the USA. Romania is a new market for us. We have mainly focused on services, but we like challenges, and in 2023 we launched BeeGreen, which is one of our two solutions,” Chirica said at the conference “Digitalization and Energy Efficiency – Iasi 2024”, organised by Energynomics.

BeeGreen is a software solution designed to simplify and optimise green space management. With a range of functionalities, BeeGreen is designed to meet the specific requirements of public institutions for the management of green spaces in urban and rural areas.

“Authorities need to prioritise transparency and improve the availability of user-friendly information to involve communities in environmental initiatives,” explained Patricia Chirica. She said that the app was created in response to the lack of standardisation and collaboration between departments and institutions and can address the lack of transparency of authorities in their relations with citizens.

At the same time, in the second phase of development of this application, the company plans to introduce a functionality related to the legal compliance of green spaces.

According to Chirica, the public information on managed green spaces “lacks standardisation, clarity and accessibility, preventing community involvement”.

By digitalizing green space documents, this data can be accessed quickly and securely from anywhere, increasing efficiency and reducing paper waste.

“The most important thing is that the platform provides a direct access channel with citizens who can find out anything about green spaces in the community,” Chirica added.

A map of each green space is also available on the platform, so users can access information such as boundaries, land use, environmental data and infrastructure details about each green space.

This conference “Digitalization and Energy Efficiency – Iasi 2024” was organised by Energynomics with the support of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania – CCIpR and of our partners: Datacor, Exim Banca Românească, Polytrade Global, Solar Turbines, UniCredit Bank, WALDEVAR .
