Romanian technology company Visual Fan [BSE:ALW], operating under the Allview brand, said it has signed a contract to build a 999.9 kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) plant for the local arm of Austrian thermal insulation producer Austrotherm, according to SeeNews.
The PV park will be developed at Austrotherm’s factory in the northeastern commune of Horia, Neamt county, and will span 16,121 sqm, Visual Fan said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The project, whose value was not disclosed, will receive funding through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), as per the statement.
Part of Austria’s Schmid Industrieholding, Austrotherm Group operates 19 insulating material production facilities in 11 countries. The company entered Romania in 1999.
In April, Visual Fan said it wants its Allview Solar Energy division to reach a portfolio of 80 MW of contracted solar projects by the end of the year.
