Renovatio Trading announces the start of the project “Completion of an electricity storage capacity (battery) in the town of Toplița, Jud. Harghita”, no. contract 327/18.10.2024, financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, through Component C6, Energy, Investment Measure – Investment I.4 – Industrial chain of production and/or assembly and/or recycling of batteries, cells and panels photovoltaics (including auxiliary equipment) and new electricity storage capacities – sub-measure 3 – Supporting investments in new electricity storage capacities (batteries).

The general objective of the project: Commissioning of a new electricity storage capacity (battery) in the town of Toplița, Jud. Harghita, until June 30, 2026, by Renovatio Trading SRL, contributing to the achievement of the objectives assumed by Romania within the PNRR – Component C6. Energy, investment measure I4, sub-measure 3 Support investments in new electricity storage capacities (batteries). The new capacity of 60.96 MWh of storage achieved through the project will thus contribute to the achievement of the objectives assumed by Romania within the PNRR in a proportion of approximately 12.7% of the target of 480 MWh, in new capacities for storing electricity in batteries, in order to reduce GHG emissions.

The specific objective of the project is the installation of a capacity of 60.9600 MWh of electricity storage in batteries in the town of Toplița, Jud. Harghita, until June 30, 2026, by Renovatio Trading SRL.

The total value of the project is 136,491,453.52 lei, of which the total eligible value is 111,531,724.28 lei and the maximum non-refundable eligible value is 15,164,708.72 lei.
