Răzvan Ilie – Volt EVSE Distribution

For the contribution to the 12 MWp photovoltaic system implementation project at the Kronospan Trading factory in Sebeș by the Volt team.

The project consists of the installation of a 12 MWp photovoltaic system on the roof of the Kronospan Trading factory in Sebeș, the largest project of its kind in Romania and South-Eastern Europe at the moment. The implementation was realised in record time, with equipment delivered in about one month and the installation completed in five months. The project was audited by VdS, confirming compliance with the highest quality standards in the European PV industry. It is also the only prosumer project with a Category C PV power plant in Romania to date. Although Volt is a relatively young company, in the last three years it has managed to implement and build the largest rooftop PV systems in Romania.

Victor Gavrilă – EnergiaTa

In 2024, EFdeN launched the 2024 Sustainable Prosumer’s Guide, a 10-chapter guide addressing the needs of existing and future prosumers. The guide proposes measures to increase self-consumption of solar energy from 40% to 70% and offers solutions for efficient energy use, navigating bureaucratic challenges and managing technical and financial issues. Furthermore, it explores the motivations of those investing in green energy and analyses how PV can support vulnerable communities.

Since the Guide was launched in 2024, our online platform has become a vital resource for prosumers, attracting over 70,000 views in the last 3 months and generating over 1,294 community posts and comments. It provides an active space for everyone interested in solar energy to exchange information, answers and support.

EFdeN is actively involved in ANRE working groups and at the Ministry of Energy, supporting efforts to create implementing rules and improve legislation on energy communities. The Your Energy project continues to promote Romania’s transition to sustainable energy by educating, supporting and connecting prosumers across the country.
