The Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, announced the start of three new projects financed through PNRR, according to a post on his social media page.

“Romania is developing and developing with European money. This is the only way it can develop. With access to resources that we could not have hoped for 35 years ago, with plans and work. Romania is also developing with the vision of entrepreneurs who show courage and see the future. And we, at the Ministry of Energy, are doing everything we can to support them. Three other private projects, also financed from non-reimbursable funds attracted by Romania through PNRR, with the support of the Ministry of Energy, have been completed in recent days,” said Burduja.

The project carried out by AKA AUTOMOTIV S.R.L. had as its objective the installation of a new energy production capacity through photovoltaic panels. In the commune of Călinești, Argeș County, a photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of approximately 205 kW was built, mounted on the roof of buildings owned by the company. The total value of the project was 982,000 lei, of which the non-reimbursable financing through the PNRR was 299,000 lei.

SC RMB INTER AUTO SRL completed the project “Installation of the CEF RMB Calea Turzii photovoltaic power plant” in Cluj County, financed by the PNRR. With a capacity of 0.4 MW, the plant will produce approximately 498 MWh annually from solar sources, of which at least 50% is used for its own consumption. The investment had a total value of over 2.1 million lei, of which 747,000 lei was non-reimbursable financing.

The company IACOB’S SA completed the project “Electricity production system through the installation of photovoltaic panels” in the locality of Șcheia, Suceava County, financed by the PNRR. With an installed capacity of 0.416 MW, the plant will produce approximately 453 MWh annually from solar sources, of which over 80% will be used for own consumption. The investment was worth over 2.2 million lei, of which 1.2 million lei non-reimbursable financing through the PNRR.

“The main effect of these projects and similar ones is the reduction of energy consumption costs. The competitiveness of companies, especially those with significant production capacities, is strongly dependent on energy costs. We come directly to support those who want to strengthen their competitiveness through projects of this type,” added the Minister of Energy.
