MEP Adina Vălean will be the president of the European Parliament’s Industry, Research and Energy Commission.
Adina Vălean is the Chairman of the Commission for the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) since January 2017, becoming the first President of the Romanian Commission in the European Parliament. From 2014 until the beginning of 2017, she was vice-president of the European Parliament, on behalf of the European People’s Group, with duties in the field of information and communication technology, according to investenergy.ro.
She is currently a member of the Delegation for the relation with the United States.
