More than 20,400 individuals have registered with car manufacturers and dealers within the 2021 Classic Scrap Program, and so far 9,498 vehicles and 61 motorcycles have been purchased, the Environment Fund Administration (AFM) announced on Monday.

Also, for legal entities, a new list containing 118 accepted files for 197 vehicles was published on the website of the Environmental Fund Administration. There were also 3 appeals for 4 vehicles.

At the same time, within the Rabla Plus 2021 Program, 3,994 individuals have registered with car manufacturers and dealers, and so far 390 green vehicles have been purchased (252 purely electric, 137 hybrid plug-ins and an electric motorcycle), according to Agerpres.

According to AFM data, for legal entities were published another 105 files accepted for 172 electric vehicles, of which 58 electric – hybrid and 114 pure electric vehicles.

The validity of the registration note within the Classic Scrap Program is 150 days from the date of issue, respectively 240 days for the Scrap Plus Program, during which the beneficiaries will carry out all the specific procedures for purchasing the new vehicle.

The “Classic Scrap” and “Scrap Plus” programs for this year started on April 26th.
