The AFM has time until June 4 to resolve the complaints submitted by 79 installers enrolled in the State-supported photovoltaic panel installation program. About 270 companies have received green light to provide services to installers who will benefit from up to 20,000 lei per project, up to 90% of the amount of eligible costs.
AFM has two weeks to respond to complaints, and then the contracts signing by AFM and each of the validated installers follows. It is only afterwards that the list of validated installers, expected by many potential beneficiaries, could be communicated. However, AFM announced the “list of validated installers would be published before the start of the program”; which might be understood as “not necessary immediately after resolving all the complaints”.
“The problem is that in the meantime the market remains stuck,” sources told energynomics.ro.
“Everyone is waiting for the program, and no one installs. At the same time, it is hard to believe that absolutely all projects will be installed during the funding period foreseen for the current year. There are too many projects and too few installers,” the quoted source said.
