AFM is carrying out an investigation regarding enrollments in the Casa Verde Photovoltaic program
The Environment Fund administration is conducting an investigation regarding the registrations in the Casa Verde Photovoltaic prosumers subsidy program, and those who used prohibited programs will lose the funding, announced the relevant minister, Mircea Fechet, according to HotNews.ro. The publication reported that a software that sell on the internet can register a file in just 9 seconds by automatically completing captcha codes, which is prohibited in the funding guide. Next year those who live in areas with fewer prosumers may be given priority.
This year, people’s interest in the Casa Verde Photovoltaic program was so great that the budgets were sold out in less than 2 minutes at each of the sessions. The record was registered in the Bucharest-Ilfov region, where registration was completed in about one minute and five seconds.
“I asked for a statistic from the Environment Fund Administration and found that there are indeed files submitted in 10 seconds, 13 seconds or 16 seconds,” said the Minister of the Environment, Mircea Fechet, on Euronews Romania.
He announced that all these situations will be checked and to the extent that it is proven that the AFM platform has been accessed illegally, those applicants will lose their funding.
