The subsidy budget of 30 million lei allocated for the second stage of the Program “Scrap for household appliances” 2021 was exhausted in 35 minutes from the beginning, according to the situation published by the Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM), on its Facebook page.

“In the first 35 minutes from the opening of the selection stage of the vouchers for TVs, laptops and tablets, the budget of 30 million lei was exhausted. The vouchers generated in this stage will be activated on Monday, June 7, 2021, after going through the internal stages of endorsement,” notes AFM.

The second stage of the government program “Scrap for home appliances” started on Friday, at 10:00, and on this occasion vouchers were generated for TVs, laptops and tablets.

According to AFM, to buy a new TV you can hand over used equipment from the same category, while for laptops and tablets you can hand over in exchange either a personal computer type equipment, consisting of central unit and monitor, or other equipment included in the program, except for old laptops and tablets, according to Agerpres.

The budget allocated to this year’s edition of the “Scrap for appliances” program is of 75 million lei, almost double compared to the 2019 session, when the amount of 40 million lei was allocated.
