AJ BRAND has developed and sold 700 MW of renewable energy projects in Romania in 2024, and now has contracts signed and already in execution for 1,300 MW on the local market, said Adrian Stan, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of AJ BRAND, at the conference “Romanian Energy Market – Facts of 2025”.

“We were able to develop and sell at ready to build 700 MW last year. Today, in Romania, we have contracts signed and already in execution for 1,300 MW. These MW will be commissioned in the next two years,” Stan said.

He added that Romania is not the company’s main market, but Spain, and that for the time being the company has stopped developing new projects locally because it is focussing on delivering the projects it has contracted.

As of 2019, the company is building new renewable power generation units totalling 1 GW of renewable energy each year, mostly abroad. However, the development of green energy projects is proceeding much faster in Romania than in Spain.
