REHAU, German manufacturer of solutions for windows, installations, furniture and the automotive segment, has, since the beginning of this year, a new country manager in Romania, Alexandru Oprea, with 17 years of experience in the company.
Alexandru Oprea takes over the position of Country Manager from Alessandro Hillebrand, under whose leadership REHAU Romania enjoyed remarkable results in all divisions. Alessandro Hillebrand will be responsible for new projects in Southern Europe, in addition to his duties as Country Manager, Italy.
Alexandru Oprea started his professional career at REHAU Romania in 2004, shortly after graduating from the Technical University of Constructions in Bucharest. In 2010 he took over the position of Sales Director Bucharest and Bacău for the Installations division of REHAU Romania and quickly advanced to the position of National Sales Director of the entire division in 2011, and in 2015 he took over the responsibilities of the Installations division for REHAU Bulgaria. Since 2018 he is a member of the Administrative Board of REHAU Romania. In the last year, Alexandru Oprea has held the position of Deputy Country Manager.

In addition to his expertise in the area of sales, management and administration, Alexandru Oprea also stood out for his openness to digital projects. In 2016, he launched within the Installations division a B2B loyalty platform that soon became a complete B2B services platform in Romania, but also in other countries where REHAU is present.
In parallel, starting with March 1, 2021, Alexandru Oprea took over the position of Head of Sales and Marketing South East Europe (EEA) within the Installations division. Thus, in addition to Romania and Bulgaria, it coordinates the following markets within the division: Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Moldova, Greece, Turkey and the Middle East.
With a history of 25 years locally, REHAU Romania reported a turnover of 44 million euro in 2019 and has 86 employees nationwide.
