We are facing unprecedented investments in the energy sector in Romania, so the outlook for the development of solar energy in the coming period is optimistic, and continued growth in this sector is expected. This growth will be driven mainly by own energy consumption and the installation of an increasing number of photovoltaic panels on the roofs. The field of renewable energy is marked by enthusiasm and is currently attracting various social categories, such as lawyers, doctors, footballers and even priests, said Radu Tărău, CEO of EnergoBit Control Systems, during the “More renewables for Romania” conference, organized by Energynomics.
“The enthusiasm is there and, unlike the first wave, I see many private investors who have established themselves in other areas of business and are now interested in the renewable energy sector,” Tărău said.
On a strategic level, EnergoBit Control Systems anticipated the start of a new wave of investment projects in renewable energy production and started investing in training its own specialists a few years ago. At the same time, the company has structured an optimised supply chain of materials and equipment “anchored in today’s realities”. “We rely on traditional relationships with customers and suppliers with whom we already have a history of mutually profitable business. We’ve learned that long-term partnerships give parties the security and predictability we need,” Tărău said.
The company has a strong procurement department that audits all suppliers, regardless of region of origin, EU or non-EU, as EnergoBit’s group-wide strategy is to constantly optimise the management of resources consumed and improve the quality of the materials it uses in order to preserve the quality of services and products delivered to the market.
At the same time, in order to manage potential risks as well as to have a higher degree of control over the business, EnergoBit tries to integrate into its own business as many activities as possible that it previously outsourced.
