The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) has started control actions throughout the country at electricity suppliers to verify the calculation method of invoices issued to consumers.
“In the context of the increase in the number of complaints registered from consumers regarding the way of calculating electricity bills, in the last period, the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) has already started a series of control actions, at the level of the whole country, in this field, as a result of a national theme, in this sense,” it is stated in a press release of the institution.
The controls of the ANPC commissioners take place at the electricity suppliers and check how the legal provisions in force are respected, regarding the calculation of the invoices issued by them to the household consumers, in the last period. We mention that, in order to be able to determine whether the complaints are founded or not, ANPC commissioners carefully analyze all the necessary documents, in each individual case,” claims ANPC.
