The total amount verified by the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) and submitted for settlement exceeded 4.3 billion lei, the institution informed on Thursday.
According to the quoted source, in accordance with the provisions of the Government’s Emergency Ordinance no. 118/2021, the status of applications for the period April 2022 – March 2023 shows that a number of 80 companies submitted settlement applications, the total number of submitted applications is 347, the total number of approved applications is 277, while the number of ineligible applications amounted to 56.
Based on the same normative act, the amount sent for settlement to the Ministry of Energy is 2.34 billion lei, the total value of ineligible requests is 10.24 million lei and the total amount requested is 2.35 billion lei, according to Agerpres.
ANRE specifies that the difference of 14 applications submitted for settlement represents the applications that are in different stages of analysis, and as the operators upload the data and supporting documents requested by the assigned experts, their verification and determination will be carried out with maximum efficiency.
In accordance with GEO 27/2022, the data of the regulatory authority shows as follows: total number of companies that submitted applications – 70, total number of submitted applications – 234, total number of approved applications, household customers – 53, total number of approved applications, non-domestic customers – 84, total number of approved applications, domestic and non-domestic customers – 137, total number of ineligible applications, domestic customers – 3, total number of ineligible applications, non-domestic customers – zero, amount sent to the Ministry of Energy (non-household customers) – 995 million lei, amount sent to ANPIS (household customers) – 984.5 million lei, the amount transferred (household and non-household customers) – 1.98 billion lei.
“The difference of 97 applications submitted for settlement represents the applications that are in different stages of analysis, and as the operators upload the data and supporting documents requested by the assigned experts, their verification and determination will be carried out with maximum efficiency,” the Authority added.
