The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) verified and sent for settlement from the state budget, for energy suppliers, according to GEO 118/2021 and GEO 27/2022, an amount of 11.15 billion lei, up by more more than 346 million lei compared to January 27, ANRE informs in a press release.

Thus, regarding GEO 118/2021 (November 2021 – March 2022), 80 companies submitted 345 applications, of which 288 were approved, 55 being considered ineligible. The amount sent to the Ministry of Energy for settlement is 2.412 billion lei, the total requested amount being 2.422 billion lei.

Based on GEO 27/2022 (April 2022 – March 2023), 89 companies submitted 942 applications, 271 applications for domestic customers and 432 for non-domestic customers being approved. A number of 13 applications for domestic customers were ineligible.

The amount sent to the Ministry of Energy, non-domestic customers, is 5.4 billion lei, and that sent to ANPIS, domestic customers, 3.3 billion lei, in total being sent for settlement an amount of over 8.7 billion lei, according to Agerpres.

Currently, 226 applications submitted for settlement are being analyzed and as the operators upload the data and supporting documents requested by the assigned experts, their verification and determination will be carried out with maximum efficiency, stated Dumitru Chiriță, ANRE president.
