The regulatory body of the energy market, ANRE, reduced the value of the contribution for cogeneration related to the first half of 2021 by 24%. Thus, the value of the contribution for cogeneration that will be applied starting with January 1, 2021 is of 17.12 lei/MWh, the institution announced.

”In the meeting of the Regulatory Committee of the National Energy Regulatory Authority on 16.12.2020, Order no. 239 / 16.12.2020 was approved.

According to the Order of the President of ANRE no. 239 regarding the approval of the contribution for high efficiency cogeneration and of some provisions regarding its invoicing method, the value of the contribution for cogeneration that will be applied starting with January 1, 2021 is of 17.12 lei/MWh,” states the ANRE release.

This value is 24.35% lower than the value of the cogeneration contribution of 22.63 lei/MWh in force for November and December 2020.

Applying the new value of the contribution for cogeneration, valid until June 30, 2021, will result in an impact on the price to the final consumer of 0.01712 lei / kWh.
