The Regulatory Committee of the Romanian regulatory body ANRE approved, at its meeting on June 24, the orders for the adjustment of the specific tariffs for the electricity distribution service provided by the distribution operators, but despite the increase in tariffs, the price on the regulated final segment will not increase, says the institution.
“This adjustment was approved as a result of the analysis of the data transmitted by the concession distribution operators and the calculations of their regulated revenues, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable calculation methodologies.
Thus, although the distribution tariffs for low voltage consumers will be adjusted by 2.21% and will have a positive impact on the safety and proper functioning of the distribution systems, their modification will not lead to increases in the final price paid by the households, for which the electricity supply is regulated,” says ANRE.
