The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has increased the distribution tariffs charged by Electrica subsidiaries with values between 2.8% and 6.5%, from January 1, 2021, according to a company release, sent on Monday to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
Thus, for the Northern Transylvania area, the tariff for distribution in the low voltage network was increased by 2.8%, for Northern Muntenia, by 3.2%, and for Southern Transylvania, by 6.5%.
The electricity distribution tariffs will be the basis of the revenues from the electricity distribution activity realized by the distribution operators within the Electrica Group during 2021, the company’s representatives specify, according to Agerpres.
“We also mention that, considering the merger of the three distribution operators within the Electrica Group, with the effective target deadline 31 December 2020, for 2021 different distribution tariffs remain, applicable to each region (Northern Muntenia, Northern Transylvania, Southern Transylvania),” it is also shown in the release.
From January 1, 2021, the electricity market will be completely liberalized, so that ANRE will only establish the tariffs for energy distribution and transport.
