A draft order of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), about the connections to the gas transportation system, a deal of hundreds of millions of lei annually, could be approved on Thursday by the Regulatory Committee, according to HotNews. In short, the order changes things so that Transgaz can control all the money circulating in the private area for connection to the system.

Thus, the money paid by the natural or legal persons who want to connect will no longer be given through private companies, but in the form of a connection tariff established in agreement with Transgaz.

Transgaz will conclude service contracts with the respective companies for connection. These are companies authorized by ANRE, which deals with the design, the verification of the technical documentation and the execution of the connection, the extension and/ or resizing of the objective/ pipeline of natural gas transport.
