In the first three quarters of this year, the Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) collected 498 million lei only from the 2% contribution on the turnover imposed by the controversial Emergency Ordinance 114, an amount of 5.6 times greater than the one collected the entire year in 2018, when collections reached 88 million lei. In 2018, before the adoption of GEO 114, the contribution was only 0.1% of the turnover, according to profit.ro.
In total, during the first 9 months of 2019, ANRE collected revenues of 510 million lei. According to the annual rectified budget of the agency, ANRE would register a surplus of 486.5 million lei, to total estimated revenues of 606 million lei, of which 598 million of taxes.
