The distribution tariffs for electricity will be decreased with values in the range of 8 to 10% from early 2016, reduction which translates into a reduction of the final price for households by about 6%, said ANRE president, Niculae Havrileţ, according to Agerpres .
“From January 1, tariffs for energy will decrease proportionally to the decrease in tariffs for distribution. The distribution tariff will decrease by percentages ranging between 8 and 10%, also the cogeneration premium will decrease by 4%. These elements will bring a final price decrease of 5-6% from 1 January”, said Havrileţ.
For natural gas, the production price reduction will be of 10% from July 1, 2016 but will be felt for industrial consumers in the range of 5-6%; on the other hand, households will pay aditional 6 lei per MWh.
Vice president of ANRE, Emil Calotă, said that he expects a reduction of individual prices for the 38 producers of heat and that the reduction will be on average of 4%, which the additional charges applied for transmission and distribution as well as subsidies established by each city council, writes Bursa.
