ANRE approved, at the meeting of the Regulatory Committee on Wednesday, a new order, by which it simplifies the procedures for contracting and establishing the electricity consumption for end customers, the institution announced.
The main changes and measures provided in the Regulation on the supply of electricity to final customers refer to the flexibility of the process of concluding contracts for the supply of electricity by final customers by eliminating the presentation or submission to the supplier by the customer of space documents at the conclusion of the contract for supply of electricity and the introduction of an affidavit of the right to use the space. Thus, the conclusion of the electricity supply contract is made on the basis of the applicant’s written agreement, related to the request for conclusion of the contract, or by telephone and the declaration on the applicant’s own responsibility, in addition to the classic documents to be attached to the file.
At the same time, the consumption agreement concluded by the supplier with the final customer becomes mandatory and the consumption data entered in it will also be used for the invoicing of distribution services if the index of the measuring equipment is not read.
Distribution operators have the obligation to provide free access to each end customer and its supplier to the information in the database by accessing their web pages, so that each end customer can access their own consumption history.
