Regulated price of electricity could increase from January 2015 to 1-2%, after companies in the sector will require recognition of tax “on pole” in the final bills, said Friday the president of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Niculae Havrileţ.
“All justified costs should be recognized in the final tariffs. So far, no company has applied for recognition in tariffs of the tax, so I do not know what impact this will have to the consumer. We estimate somewhere around 1-2 %,” said Havrileţ, quoted by Agerpres.
Statements made for special constructions tax amounted in the first collection day to about a billion lei, double the budgeted amount, announced Secretary of State in the Ministry of Finance, Dan Manolescu.
“We had a declared sum of one billion lei, being updated. Statement is submitted for the entire annual amount but is payable in two installments. Amount is already double than that budgeted,” said Manolescu.
The first term for the special tax payment by the companies for 2014 was of 26 of May, the second installment will be due on September 25, 2014.
In early April, the Minister for the Budget, Liviu Voinea said that estimates of tax receipts indicate a collection of 1.5 billion lei, but the budget for 2014 provided just 488 million lei because of the risk of lack of collection.
The special construction tax is of 1.5% of a taxable base still undergoing disputes and subject to changes.
