The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) verified and sent for settlement to suppliers, for the period November 2021 – March 2022, an amount of over 2.47 billion lei, according to a press release.
Based on GEO 118/2021, regarding the establishment of a compensation scheme for electricity and gas consumption, for the period April 2022 – March 2023, 80 companies submitted a total of 350 applications, of which 264 were approved, 58 being ineligible. The amount sent to the Ministry of Energy exceeds 2.28 billion lei. The total amount of ineligible requests is of 10.2 million lei, and the total amount requested is of 2.29 billion lei.
“The difference of 28 applications submitted for settlement are in different stages of analysis, and as the operators upload the supporting data and documents, requested by the assigned experts, their verification and determination will be carried out with maximum efficiency,” ANRE emphasizes.
Based on GEO 27/2022, regarding the measures applicable to final customers in the electricity and natural gas market in the period April 1, 2022 – March 31, 2023, as well as for the modification and completion of some normative acts in the field of energy, for the reporting period April 2022 – March 2023, 126 applications were submitted by 54 companies, of which 9 were approved for domestic customers, 14 for non-domestic customers and 23 for domestic and non-domestic customers. The amount sent to the Ministry of Energy, non-domestic customers, is approximately 102.22 million lei, and the amount sent to the National Agency for Payments and Social Protection, for domestic customers, is 88.085 million lei. The total amount requested, household and non-household customers, is 190.305 million lei.
The amounts sent to the Ministry of Energy (non-households) and the Ministry of Labor – the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection (households) were: in April 2022 electricity household customers – 41.432 million lei, non-household customers – 33.691 million lei. The total amounted to 75.285 million lei.
In May, the amounts sent for settlement were of 46.501 million lei for electricity for household customers and 40.924 million lei for non-household customers. The total amounted to 87.425 million lei.
In June, the amounts sent were for electricity to household customers of 2.841 million lei and for non-household customers of 27.591 million lei, and the total was 27.594 million lei, according to Agerpres.
“The difference of 103 applications submitted for settlement are in various stages of analysis, and as the operators upload the supporting data and documents, requested by the assigned experts, their verification and determination will be carried out with maximum efficiency. GEO 118/2021 is settled in a proportion of approximately 98%, the ceiling team starting the verification and analysis of the data related to GEO 27/2022. Considering the relatively small number of applications submitted for the period April 2022 – March 2023, we appeal to all operators who benefit from the provisions of GEO 27/ 2022 to proceed with uploading the data related to the above-mentioned period,” ANRE representatives said.
