The implementation of energy efficiency measures would bring energy savings of over 100,000 toe in the energy industry, and the costs are of 7 billion ROL, according to the Annual Report on the Activity of Energy Audits Development in 2018, elaborated by ANRE.
The total costs for implementing the energy efficiency measures recommended in the energy and transport industry are between 4 and 7 billion lei, according to investenergy.ro.
According to ANRE experts, the costs of implementing energy efficiency measures in the energy industry are high because energy audits recommend measures that involve high financial costs for implementation, such as: rehabilitation of heating networks, acquisition of lighting units with LED technology, mounting of photovoltaic panels, installation of microgeneration units, variable speed drives.
