The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) verified and sent for settlement from the state budget, for energy suppliers, an amount of over 14.36 billion lei, an increase of 265 million lei compared to April 21, ANRE informs.

Thus, on GEO 118/2021 (November 2021 – March 2022), 345 applications were submitted by 80 companies, of which 288 were approved. The amount sent to the Ministry of Energy exceeded 2.68 billion lei.

Based on GEO 27/2022 (April 2022 – March 2023), 91 companies submitted 1,091 applications, of which 351 were approved for household customers and 589 for non-household customers. 31 requests for domestic customers were declared ineligible. The amount sent to the Ministry of Energy, non-domestic customers, was 7.19 billion lei, and that to the National Agency for Payments and Social Inspection, domestic customers, 4.49 billion lei.

Currently, 120 applications submitted for settlement are under analysis, and as the operators upload the data and supporting documents requested by the assigned experts, their verification and determination will be carried out “with maximum efficiency,” stated Dumitru Chiriță, ANRE president.
