Representatives of the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) are waiting the motivation of the Bucharest Court of Appeal to rule on the ongoing contracts between energy producers and domestic consumers, following Nuclearelectrica’s action, according to an ANRE response, sent on Wednesday to Agerpres.
On Monday, the Bucharest Court of Appeal decided, following an action by Nuclearelectrica, to suspend ANRE order 216/2019 for approving the Methodology for setting prices for electricity sold by producers based on regulated contracts.
“We wait for the motivation of the decision of the court, its signing and communication and then we will decide,” ANRE officials replied. They also said they would challenge the court’s decision.
In parallel, Nuclearelectrica has initiated an action in court to annul the order.
