The National Agency for Mineral Resources (ANRM) is considering the division of the XI round of tenders, so that the 22 continental oil fields could be auctioned before the six offshore perimeters, where clarifications on the procedures are required, according to financialintelligence.ro.

Last summer, ANRM announced that it is offering by public appeal the concession of 28 perimeter for oil exploration, development and exploitation operations, during the 11th round of tenders, according to an order of the ANRM president.

On the ANRM site, Round XI appears in the finalization stage for the public announcement. The announcement regarding the official opening of the Round is to be published in the Official Journal of the European Union.

ANRM is considering dividing Round XI because Laws 256 and 165 on offshore oil perimeters have provisions that exceed the Oil Law, so it must be clarified what additional documents the auction participants must present.
