Only three companies have officially requested access to the data room for offshore investment off the Black Sea for a potential acquisition of ExxonMobil’s stake. This is Romgaz and two foreign companies, according to ANRM.
“ANRM has approved a single data room for 3 companies, Romgaz and 2 other foreign companies, who do not want their name to be made public at this time,” declared ANRM, according to e-nergia.ro.
ExxonMobil and Petrom, which hold in equal shares the Neptun Deep perimeter of the Black Sea, with reserves between 42 and 84 billion cubic meters of gas, have already carried out prospecting and drilling, the value of the works being estimated at 1.5 billion euro (each contributed half of the amount) and, according to the law, all data were submitted to ANRM.
