The Ariston Group today announced net revenues of 2,379 million euros in 2022, 19.7% more than in 2021. Growth was stronger in the Thermal Comfort division compared to the other two divisions and was concentrated in Europe and Asia/Pacific & MEA.
Adjusted EBIT operating profit amounted to 223 million euros, up 9.4% compared to 2021, and net profit to 140 million euros, 2.9% higher than in 2021.
“The results of the first year after the IPO demonstrate once again the solidity of our business model, the organic growth being complemented by a strategic acquisition,” stated Paolo Merloni, the executive president of the Ariston Group.
“With the acquisition of Centrotec Climate Systems, the turnover of the group will exceed 3 billion euros, with a solid profit.”
On January 2, 2023, Ariston acquired Centrotec Climate Systems (Wolf, Brink, Ned Air and Pro-Klima brands). The purchase price paid at closing was of EUR 635.05 million in cash plus 41,416,667 Ariston Holding N.V. shares issued through a dedicated capital increase.
