Petroleum Employers' Association of Romania was founded in 2004 as a result of the economical impact generated by the development of this industry, leading to the emergence and development of many related fields, without which the oil industry would not be complete.
Currently, Petroleum Employers' Association of Romania is formed of many important companies from domains related to the oil industry such as: research and design, oil equipment, metallic confections, security systems and transportation.
Petroleum Employers' Association in Romania participated in the negotiation and signing of the Collective Labor Agreement at the branch level of chemicals and petrochemicals, and the addendum as a member of the Parity Commission but also in the development of occupational standards in the field in order to complete the classification of the European Sectoral Qualifications of chemicals and petrochemicals. It took an active part in discussions on the application of "Reach" by participating to national and international seminars and dissemination of information toward members.
Petroleum Employers' Association of Romania is a founding member of FedePEG, member by reciprocity of the Petroleum Club and CNR-CME.
