Autonom Group is looking at foreign markets, including China and the US, to develop its own model for introducing artificial intelligence (AI) into customer and supplier relationships, said Valentin Coca, National Sales Director, at the DigitALL 2024 conference organized by Energynomics.

“Our core philosophy is to learn and learn from our customers and we are always testing new things. Electric mobility is part of the future and here we are talking about sustainability. In Romania, the take-up of electric stations is 15%,” he said.

The Autonom Group, a family-owned business, has built an ecosystem focused on mobility and sustainability, continuously learning from customers and testing new solutions.

Autonom is present in Romania and Hungary, but has plans to expand to other countries.

As an integrated provider of mobility solutions for companies and individuals, Autonom is one of the pioneers of the electric mobility market in Romania. The company has launched services such as Business Green or ride hailing Blue, obtained a substantial loan from the European Investment Bank to buy 895 electric and hybrid vehicles and announced the purchase of 200 electric cars. All this to reduce emissions, pollution and noise from cars for hire, as part of a sustainability strategy adopted as early as 2021.

Founded in 2006, the Autonom Group has seen double-digit annual growth, reaching a turnover of over 80 million euros in 2021. Over the past 5 years, Autonom has invested in 11 companies in various sectors such as finance, insurance, technology and mobility.
