We continue to present the 2017 nominations for the energynomics.ro Awards, with the Best New Comer category. Only one of the projects below will be rewarded during the Gala from December 7th, but every company and everyone involved in these projects deserve our respect and the widest promotion. E.ON Flash – your 100% digital energy provider
E.ON Flash is a new energy supplier on the Romanian market, developed to deliver 100% online products and services to consumers who want to change their gas and electricity supplier in the context of market liberalization.

Ringhel Team SRL – Natural Gas Management Software Applications GeFEE Gas and GeFEE Web Gas
In a very complex and ever-changing market such as the natural gas market, Ringhel Team has developed, for the first time in Romania, the GeFEE Gas suite of software applications that responds perfectly to the needs of suppliers, at the management, operational and reporting to the authorities levels. The applications are dedicated to the activity of natural gas suppliers, taking into account the flows and the specifics of this market, the legislative and regulatory requirements.
GeFEE Gas software suite consists of two platforms, desktop and web, which fully cover the activity of gas suppliers through complementary flows. The two platforms are natively integrated, they have a common database, making it possible to operate information once and update the data in real time. By the end of 2017, the GeFEE Gas suite will also include the Natural Gas Trading platform.
Less than a year after the launch, GeFEE Gas platforms are being used by more than 10 major suppliers such as CEZ, MET, Forte Gaz, Nova, Entrex etc, and more than 10% of the Romanian gas is managed through GeFEE Gas applications. More than 50,000 people, professionals or end-users use GeFEE Gas platforms with a direct impact on business efficiency and data accuracy for professionals, such as quick access to their information and facilitating interaction with the gas supplier for consumers.
Rottco – SYNERGY by rottco, dedicated to independent gas stations
The strategic objective of the project is interconnection of Romanian independent gas stations in a nationwide and interactive network yet respecting their business independence. In this project, Rottco acts as integrator and network operator.
The strategic objectives of the SYNERGY project are: interconnecting the Romanian independent gas stations in a nationwide and interactive network; provide services similar to those offered by the large international networks; increase business and value for the independent stations owners; increase competitiveness. Such objectives can only be achieved through integrated services, specific to large distribution networks.
Early 2017 ROTTCO Synergy CARD system for fleets became operational, being an important part of the main project SYNERGY. ROTTCO is the first Romanian independent company offering such services in cooperation with independent gas stations. The filling stations are spread across the country onto the main roads and large cities, providing nationwide coverage for carriers. By adhering to the program, independent station owners can provide national services with local benefits, a program that keeps profits where they are generated, in the independent gas stations, for the benefit of local communities.
Sand Hill Petroleum România
Sand Hill Petroleum Romania SRL became the main titleholder and operator of the petroleum blocks EX-1 VOIVOZI and EX-5 ADEA, located in the Eastern part of the Pannonian Basin and Western part of Romania, after entering into a high value transaction with the former titleholders. The transaction became effective in January 2017.
The goal of Sand Hill investments in the Pannonian Basin is to identify overlooked conventional hydrocarbon resources by applying modern North American exploration technology, including 3D seismic acquisition and processing.
Sand Hill Petroleum Romania SRL was established in 2013 as a subsidiary of the Dutch company Sand Hill Petroleum BV, the main investor of which is the American private equity firm Warburg Pincus. Our main business activities include oil and natural gas exploration and production. Our group has subsidiaries in Budapest, Hungary and Bucharest, Romania, the activities of both companies being currently focused on the Pannonian Basin.
Although the Romanian subsidiary was set up in 2013 and has previously successfully carried out significant prospecting activities in the Transylvanian Basin, the significant investments of this year are associated to the aforesaid two petroleum blocks.
Shandong Kerui Petroleum Equipment – PIPE Project S.R.M.P. Sidex, beneficiary Transgaz
The project is the first stage in Kerui’s official entry into the Romanian market. Kerui has collaborated with a local partner – IPM Partners – and won the tender launched by Transgaz with a partnership where Kerui provided flexible payment terms, and a credit line of up to 6 months.
Newcomer to the Romanian market, Kerui is a Chinese comprehensive industrial group integrating the research, development and production divisions of leading oil equipments, integrated technological services in the oil field and contracting of turnkey EPC projects.
Romania is the center for Kerui’s oil and gas projects throughout Europe.
