Don't miss!

The Black Sea‘s potential has already attracted the attention of the major IOCs, with high levels of investment and exploration activity.

Despite the low oil price environment and pressure to cut exploration budgets:

  • Shell has already drilled its first exploration well in the western Black Sea in Turkey
  • ExxonMobil is continuing to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in drilling thePelican South and Dolphin wells
  • Total, OMV and Repsol plan to drill in the Khan-Asparuh block in the Bulgarian sector in early 2016
  • OMV Petrom is investing in the redevelopment of assets onshore in Romania

There is no doubt that the Black Sea is the key regional hotspot with high-impact exploration potential, and the Ukraine crisis and cancellation of the South Stream pipeline has only increased the importance of exploring the region’s own hydrocarbon reserves.

However, in the period of low oil prices it is extremely important to prioritise only the best E&P projects and secure the best partnerships for long-term perspective.

The third Black Sea Offshore Conference will be the only event to attend in 2015 for those of you who are doing business in the Black Sea Region, or are interested in finding out about the opportunities there.

Why?

  • the only annual event dedicated to E&P activities in the whole Black Sea including Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine
  • well-established and attended by all IOCs and NOCs operating in the region
  • supported by local governments
  • industry-driven business meeting with a special focus on new licences and tenders

What is new in 2015?

  • Special focus on the region’s gas supply dynamics and new transportation routes
  • Roundtable on how to optimise costs in undertaking expensive deepwater drilling campaigns
  • Overview of onshore assets redevelopment in Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey
  • Discussion “How to convert resources discovered to commercial reserves?”
