During the July 5th 2017 board meeting, the Supervisory Board of Hidroelectrica has appointed three new members to the Executive Board, namely Bogdan Nicolae Badea, as President and Marian Bratu and Mihai-Val Zdru, as members.
Bogdan Badea and Marian Bratu held senior management positions within Hidroelectrica, respectively Manager of the Project Management Department in the Investment Department and Manager of Maintenance, reads a Hidroelectrica press release, both having expertise in the investment activity, production and maintenance of the company.
Mihai-Val Zdru has previously held the position of Director of the Network Access Direction at Transelectrica.
According to the message issued by Hidroelectrica, the priorities of the new Board of Directors are:
- implementing a strategic management which leads to a sustainable development of the company
- efficient use of the hydropower resources in order to maximize production and maintain a high level of profit
- ensuring a high availability of the electricity production capacity, under safe operation of hydroelectric facilities and equipment of Hidroelectrica
- urgent identification of viable solutions for historical investments with complex functions within the management of the company
- the fast reorganization of SSH Hidroserv SA and its financial recovery
- the listing acceleration on the stock exchange of Hidroelectrica
- the implementation of corporate governance principles
- strengthening the dialogue with social partners
Former members of the Executive Board – Ovidiu Agliceru, Petronel Chiriac and Iulian Tudor – will continue their work in the company, on the positions held prior to being on the Exective Board.
