Bosch inaugurated the second office building built within the Engineering Center in Cluj, following an investment of approximately 21 million euro, over a period of three years. The total investment, started in 2017, in the two buildings of the center in Cluj amounts to over 50 million euro. The official opening took place on April 23, in the presence of the company’s local management and representatives of local authorities and partners. The new building, whose construction began in March 2021, has a built-up area of approximately 10,000 square meters, divided over ten floors, and is connected to the existing headquarters by two walkways.
“In 2024, we are also celebrating 30 years of Bosch presence in Romania and we are happy to mark this moment by completing an investment of such magnitude, both in terms of the amount allocated and in terms of its usefulness for Bosch and for the industry from Romania, but also through the exemplary way of collaborating with local authorities. For 30 years, Bosch has been a reliable partner for Romanian society, and this investment in Cluj underlines the long-term commitment that the Bosch Group has towards Romania,” said Mihai Boldijar, general director of Robert Bosch S.R.L. and the representative of the Bosch Group in Romania.
