The value of share transactions carried out last week on the Bucharest Stock Exchange increased by 92.3 million lei compared to the previous week, to 275.8 million lei, while the stock market capitalization increased to 340.6 billion lei.

According to the data published by BVB, cited by Agerpres, last week was the best of the last month in terms of the value of share transactions.

The best trading day was Tuesday, September 17, when the share turnover was 117.9 million lei, and the worst day, Monday, September 16, when the registered exchanges amounted to 22.3 million of lions.

Between September 16 and 20, the most traded shares were Hidroelectrica, with exchanges worth 106.4 million lei, Banca Transilvania – 36.3 million lei and OMV Petrom – 29.4 million lei.

The best developments on the BVB’s main segment were recorded, in the week ending on Sunday, by Carbochim securities, which appreciated by 11.49%, TTS (Transport Trade Services) – plus 10.25% and SIF Hotels – plus 7.39%.

At the opposite pole, the most severe price depreciations were recorded by the shares of the companies Electrocontact – minus 12.50%, Condmag – 9.09% and AETA – 7.60%.
