The representatives of the Territorial Labor Inspectorate (ITM) Bucharest carried out controls at 77 gas stations in the Capital, during the verification campaign that started on March 10, the chief inspector of ITM Bucharest, Constantin Bujor, said on Wednesday.

“At the level of Bucharest, during the five days of the campaign, the representatives of the Bucharest Territorial Labor Inspectorate carried out a number of 154 controls in the reference fields, of which 77 controls in the field of occupational safety and health and 77 controls In the field of labor relations.
The aspects related to the safety and health part at work, plus the conclusion and execution of individual employment contracts are checked. (…) We can say that at the level of Bucharest, over 90% of the total number of car fuel distribution stations have been checked, and today all these work points or units that we will control will be covered. To date, 77 gas stations have been inspected,” Bujor said, according to Agerpres.

The chief inspector of ITM Bucharest explained that during the campaign, 5 sanctions were applied, amounting to 26,000 lei.

“On the occasion of this campaign, a series of sanctions were applied at the level of Bucharest. I would like to mention the fact that, out of the total sanctions applied, over 100 sanctions, there are only 5 contravention sanctions, worth 26,000 lei, and this also shows the preventive nature of the actions carried out in this field by our institution,” he added.
