The General Director of Vestas CEU Romania, Cătălina Dragomir, became the President of the Board of Romanian Wind Energy Association (RWEA), headlined the central mass media. The regional representative of the world’s leading manufacturer of wind turbines leads this company since 2010.

“We have important things to do in the association and I am convinced that the wind industry needs strong voices to support it. The mission that I take is to bring these voices alongside RWEA turning us into a unified voice of the industry, a voice to promote the interests of Romania wind sector through efforts of its members and partners”, said Cătălina Dragomir, quoted by Mediafax.

Other changes have taken place in the organization. Sebastian Enache, Business Development Manager at Monsson Alma group became Vice-president at RWEA and Ionel David will remain CEO. The new Board also includes representatives from EDPR, CEZ Group, GDF Suez, Enel Green Power, Verbund, Crucea Wind/Flag, Monsson Alma and AXPO.
