The Constitutional Court of Romania has postponed for the fifth time the ruling on the complaint filed by the USR party in the case of the obvious incompatibility of Marian Neacșu in the management of the energy regulatory body ANRE, says the USR deputy Cristina Prună.
She says that Neacșu “does not meet any criteria required by GEO33/ 2007 regarding the organization and functioning of the National Energy Regulatory Authority, but nonetheless, Marian Neacșu is one of the members of the ANRE Regulatory Committee, the body that sets the tariffs and the price of energy and natural gas.”
She also argues that Marian Neacșu “has no experience in management positions for at least 5 years in the field of electricity, heat, natural gas or related fields.”
Moreover, Marian Neacșu also has a criminal conviction, being ANRE vice president “with the flagrant violation of the law”.
“USR will not take any steps back and we will call on all legal ways to stop this mockery against the energy sector professionals, consumers and the energy market,” says Pruna.
