CEZ and Oltenia Distribution announced the suspension of the activity of the customer relations centers in Argeș, Dolj, Gorj, Mehedinți, Olt, Teleorman and Vâlcea counties, as well as the offices in Timișoara, Iași and Reșița, between March 12 and March 31, 2020, the companies announced.

“Starting today, March 12, at 14:00, CEZ Customer Relations Centers Sale from Argeș, Dolj, Gorj, Mehedinți, Olt, Teleorman and Vâlcea counties, as well as the offices in Timișoara, Iași and Reșița, will suspend their activity until March 31. The electricity and natural gas supplier CEZ Vanzare takes all measures to protect its employees and customers, arranging for the suspension of activity involving clusters of spaces and direct contact,” the CEZ release states.

“For the prevention and protection against COVID 19 infection of the employees from the Distributie Oltenia User Relations Centers and of the energy consumers from the DEO operational area, the distribution operator has ordered the suspension of the activity from the centers starting today, March 12, at 14:00 until March 31, 2020. Energy consumers in the Oltenia area, including Argeș and Teleorman counties, have alternative communication channels available in dialogue with the operator,” the Distributie Oltenia statement shows.

“We mention that all the technical activity will continue to be carried out under the same conditions, the operating teams being prepared to intervene promptly to remedy any deficiencies in the electricity supply during this period. Moreover, additional measures have been arranged so that all places of consumption of the hospital institutions, as well as those where quarantined persons have been declared, are monitored to ensure continuity in the electricity supply.”
